Seven on a Saturday | My Current Wish List

Happy Saturday, friends! We made it another week. Whew! It’s getting tough over here. I’m exhausted from all the state testing stress and the fun wedding events we’ve had. This weekend will be a bit more restful, thank goodness. One of the curses of social media is the incessant amount of products that you’re presented with every day. I have a whole list of things that are on my radar, and I wondered if maybe some of them were on yours, too.

Elements of Family Style- Erin Gates

I am a huge fan of Erin and her design and decorating talent. Her book, Elements of Style, is one of my favorite design books and is maybe the most photographed design book ever. The black and white striped spine is timeless, and everyone wondered how she’d top it. I’d say the blue and white toile is pretty dang good. Can’t wait to get my hands on this book.

True Roots- Kristin Cavallari

I’m going to blame this on Very Cavallari, her latest reality show that I mentioned last Saturday. I recently started eating a cereal that’s gluten free, and the similar one that’s got plenty of gluten makes me feel terrible. But the one I’m eating now doesn’t leave me with an upset stomach. I’d like to try some of her recipes to see if I’ll feel even better. Now, if I can get Paul on board.. Hmm…might be a challenge.

This Cross Body Round Bag

I saw this bag on the Simply Chic Baton Rouge Instagram account. It is a precious little bag that is a cross body but has a sweet little wrist strap that makes it even cuter. I NEED this one! I think the pink wrist strap is so sweet, and it will be perfect for summer date nights. Simply Chic is my favorite Baton Rouge boutique owned by the sweetest person. They recently launched their website so that you can shop there, too. Trust me when I say you need to shop there.

Short Hair

I want to cut my hair so badly. It’s been about a year since I cut my hair, and I’ve got the itch to do it again. Isn’t that how it goes? You grow your hair out and want to cut it. Then you cut it and immediately want it to grow.

I am crazy about the chin-length cut above. It’s so cute, but I’m not sure I’m brave enough to cut it that short. Realistically, I’ll go with something like none other than Kristin Cavallari. I think I’ve got a slight obsession with her and her brand. Can I have some of her Uncommon James jewels, too? I’d love these earrings, this ear cuff, and this necklace just to name a few. Anyway, back to her hair. I think this length will be better for me.

Loopy Case

My mom got a Loopy Case, and I am convinced that I need one. I want this one called the Jasper. I love the turquoise color with the gold flecks. I’m trying to wait until I have to get a new phone. I’m hoping it’s not too soon, but I’m still rocking an iPhone 7, and I’m wondering how much longer it’s going to last me. Fingers crossed it’s a good long while.

Statement Earring

I’ve had my sights on these for a while, and I’m really thinking about how much I’d wear them all summer long. Don’t you think I need them? They’re on Amazon for such a great price.

Watch Season 1 of Outlander

I just have to finish the book. It’s my goal to finish the book this month. I sure hope I make it. I’m going to take a break from reading the series to watch the first season of the show. I’m told each season of the show is a book in the series, so my plan is to read a book then watch it. And, y’all, that actor playing Jamie is HOT! Which is no surprise to any of us who have read the book. Have you watched it?

I hope you’re having a delightful Saturday and that you have a lovely weekend and spend some time reflecting on the meaning of it. Jesus isn’t only the reason for the season of Christmas. Easter is definitely His holiday. 🙂

What’s on your current wish list? Tell me in the comments. Maybe I’ll add it to my list, too. 🙂
