HAPPY GAME DAY!
In case you haven’t heard, today is the first Saturday of the college football season. And in case you’re reading this and don’t live in the deep south, it’s kind of a big deal.
I really fell in love with college football when I went to college. Groundbreaking stuff, I know. But it was the first time I was able to purchase season tickets and attend games on the regular, and it was awesome. I never missed a game my freshman year at Auburn, and that just so happened to be the year we went undefeated. It was 2004 and we were SEC champs. We also won the Sugar Bowl that year.
