Seven on a Saturday – On a Sunday

Well, I managed to get one Seven on a Saturday post up. I had great intentions of getting one up yesterday, but the first week of school is a little stressful and lot of work, so I didn’t get to write it. Then the weekend has flown by because of all of the social events that were on our calendar. (I’m bragging a little because that never happens.) But for real, we had two gatherings this weekend, so blogging had to wait. Needless to say, I’m bring you a Seven on a Saturday post tonight, Sunday.

As I may have mentioned before, Instagram is my preferred form of social media. So it’ll come as no surprise that I’ve found seven more things from Instagram this week to share with you. I’ll link the handle of each photo source so you can follow these accounts too.

I’m assuming because school has started, the amount of kid-related posts have been amped up. It also seems like a lot of people are pregnant or have just had babies, so baby and kid things are flooding my Instagram feed. Here are seven things that are kid related that stopped my scroll this week.

  1. Oscar de la Renta’s Fall 2018 Children’s CollectionI mean, come on. The prints are precious, the knee high socks are adorable, and I need that red leather moto jacket in my size.

2. Bunk Bed Perfection from Country Living MagazineEvery single detail is incredibly thought out. The rug and chandelier are the icing on the cake. ♥ The design is by Whitney Phelps who has a lovely Instagram feed, and you need to follow her.

3. LSU onesie from SFTI taught the son of the boss babe with this incredible company, and she’s just come out with the sweetest little gameday onesie that’s perfect for the bébé who’ll yell “Geaux Tigers” one day! Love it, Meredith.

4. Speech/Language Teacher Interview Forms from Putting Words in your MouthI had the privilege of teaching down the hall from this wonderful Speech Therapist who has unbelievably creative products on Teachers Pay Teachers. If you’re also a speech therapist or know one, you need to tell them about Mia.  Teachers, we know how difficult it can be to fill out all the forms and paperwork required of us at the beginning of the school year, and these look simple and to the point, and will provide the speech teacher exactly what he/she needs. Well done, Mia!

5. Wall Hooks for a nursery from Whoa, Wait, WalmartIf you aren’t following this account on Instagram then you’re seriously missing out. I have discovered so many cute things at Walmart and Sam’s because of the two women behind their account. This week I saw these hooks and could not get over how adorable they are. I especially love the moon, star, and cloud set.

6. Jojo’s real life moment with new baby, Crew. She talks about a long night with multiple blowouts from the littlest Gaines in her caption, and the picture shows us the laundry, the opened drawer, and even some cleaner. I’m sure all you mamas have been there. Bless you! And then I kept looking at the picture and thought how much I loved the decor of this room. The rug, the art, the basket to change him in, and the cutest little baby rocker I ever did see. Leave it to a Gaines newborn to have a better styled bedroom that most of us grownups. 🙂

7. Doggie Parents from the Huffington Post Life Instagram PageBecause dogs are like children too. And all children, human or furry, can be totally unpredictable. This pup is hilarious and the photographer captured a perfect moment. I hope the couple framed it. Come on, look at that dogs face! Now look at the grooms face! Hahaha!

I hope y’all have had a fabulous weekend.
