We’re going back to Monterey, California today to visit another home of the HBO series, Big Little Lies. Last week we took a peek into Madeline’s home.
Today we’ll be looking at Celeste Wright’s home. Remember how there were walls of windows in Madeline’s home? Well, it’s practically the same here. And even though the views are a tad different, Celeste’s views are equally as stunning.
See what I mean? A bit different because of all the trees, but there’s the ocean right there. I am seriously loving all of the outdoor living spaces of these homes.
I may like this house even better because of the trees. I’m more of a mountains girl than a beach girl, but this one gives you the best of both worlds.
I’m digging that light fixture over the table and the rug color.
In love with this room. Even the blue wall, which I’m not usually into, but everything goes together so well. The darker blue in the art and chair by the window, the tones of the wood floors, rug, and furniture all make it such a calm place. Which is ironic if you watched the show or read the book and know about what happens in this house.
Can you even with that chair? It would be perfect in a super large master bedroom sitting area. 🙂 Y’all know I love those.
The view out this window is picture perfect. It would be a beautiful thing to wake up to every morning.
I don’t remember seeing this detail in the show, but the bed is incredible. I know it’s not everyone’s style, but I love how interesting it is. I guess you’d have to get used to that step down off the wooden platform if you had to get up in the middle of the night for a trip to the bathroom. 🙂 I’d bust it a few times for sure. I’m also a little crazy about the art above the bed. Abstract art is kind of my favorite. Â
A sky light in the closet? Sure! Also, an island in the closet would work for me too. You too? I thought so.
