Seven on a Saturday- How To: Leopard Home Decor

Happy Saturday my friends! I made it a whole week back at work. I always forget how tired I am during this time of the school year. Gracious! However, I’ve got one of my favorite things to talk about today- leopard print! Clearly, I’m a fan and, truthfully, always have been. It can be easy to take leopard to a tacky place, so I’m showing you seven ways to do it tastefully. Some are wild and some are tame, some are the traditional neutral colors while others are bright and bold. Every photo is linked to its source for your convenience.

Leopard Curtains

This is the photo I used for inspiration to have leopard curtains in my own home. My mom happened upon a whole lot of leopard fabric in a thrift store that I used to make mine. Read about how I made them here.

Leopard Rugs

Cassie from Hi Sugarplum is one of my very favorites to follow. She has great fashion sense and a real knack for design. Just check out this rug in her entryway! In. Love. You also won’t believe the carpet in her closet.

Leopard Pillows

Jennifer often makes her own pillows and is pretty amazing at it. Come see her colorful home tour from a few years ago and watch how she expertly mixes patterns like leopard a buffalo check.

Leopard Stair Runner

I kind of love the muted tones of the leopard on this stair runner. It makes a statement but doesn’t overpower the wallpaper. I highly encourage you to click the photo and take the quick tour of this apartment. You’ll see lots of extra bonus ways you could use leopard throughout your home.

Leopard Wallpaper

So it’s a tad bold, but how about leopard in blue? Fresh! I just keep staring at this picture. Schumacher has some of the most beautiful patterns for fabrics and wallpaper. Would you be so bold? I say yes!

Leopard Blankets

Perhaps you’ve heard of a thing called the Nordstrom Anniversay Sale. If you have then you’ve heard bloggers of all kinds talk about a brand called Barefoot Dreams. This year they came out with the cutest reversible leopard throw that is rumored to be one of the softest blankets on the market. Pricey but chic and would make a very nice gift.

Leopard Art

I’m absolutely crazy about the company, Artfully Walls. The prints are unbelievably priced and come with a framing option to make it a one-stop shop. I think this print is elegant and feisty at the same time. You must check out this website of endless possibilities for beautiful art.

Are you a fan of leopard print? I don’t believe I’ll ever quit it. It’s practically a neutral in my wardrobe at this point, and I keep trying to find ways to incorporate it into every room in my home. Tell me in the comments which of these ways you would use leopard in your house.
Have a great weekend!
